Characters of the Cross Event - Christchurch Eltham
The Year 6 pupils had a fantastic time at the Characters of the Crossevent at Christchurch Eltham. They worked in small groups around the church, each focusing on a different character from the Easter story. Pupils had the opportunity to explain who their character was, their role in the Easter story, and the reasons behind their actions. They then presented their ideas to the group, showcasing their understanding and interpretation.
Year 6 were able to draw on their knowledge of the Bible and make meaningful connections to the upcoming Passion service, deepening their understanding of Lent, Easter, and the key figures in the Easter story.
