Christmas Fayre Thank you from PTFA
Christmas Fayre 2024
As a parent and part of the PTFA committee, supporting and helping to organise the OLOG Christmas Fayre has been one of the highlights of my year.
WAOHHHHHHHH, I really do feel this year's Christmas Fayre was probably the best yet.
It was an excellent day out for our children and families with just the right amount of chill in the air to kick start the Christmas spirit.
There was just soooooo much on offer at the different stalls.
For some, it was spending time enjoying various fun activities such as face painting and tatoos, slime making, arts and craft, ball or brussel, stick the ball and writing letters to Santa.
For others, it was an opportunity for meeting and catching up with friends, while listening and dancing to good ole festive tunes from the live band, who also gave regular updates during the event.
The children and families spent their time bagging fantastic bargains at the pre-loved stalls for first class toys, teddies, games, uniforms, shoes, and finding some unique quality gifts at the Christmas market.
The Adults and Children tombolas were great hits.
While the raffle draws had children and families smiling home with some lovely award winning prizes.
Not to mention the ever popular tasty burgers and hotdogs straight off the grill, and out of the kitchen.
There was also delicious treats such as cakes, puff puffs, mince pies, candies and sweets from the Cake and Tuck shops, with plenty of cold and hot refreshments readily available throughout the day.
Topping all those, was the Santa's grotto, which was literarily the cherry on the cake.
This year's Christmas Fayre had something for everyone, and one that would be talked about for a very long time.
It was a brilliant event born out of the combined efforts and sheer hard work of the PTFA committee, and our amazing Parents, Teachers and Friends volunteers.
