British Science Week 2024 KS2

To celebrate British Science Week this year, we performed a number of fascinating experiments and games that enabled us to explore several scientific concepts in details.

We started off with Year 6 taking a closer look at the human circulatory system through games and a heart dissection with Townley Grammar School. David Hall – Mr “Michael Faraday” was also in the school to deliver an exciting Key stage 2 workshop on The Journey of Electricity through Time.

With the help of the school’s Science Club members, EYFS and Key Stage 1 children experimented with chromatography, series circuits surface tension and many more.
